DAY 1: CASABLANCA - RABAT – FES

Today’s plan starts from Casablanca. It is the economic center Morocco. We will visit some interesting sites before we drive to Rabat. Later on, we will head to Fez. It is claimed to be the oldest city in Morocco. In this imperial city, we will visit the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), Al Qaraouine University, the well-known and interesting tanneries and Moulay Idris Mausoleum. The overnight and dinner will be at the riad you stay in.

DAY 2: FES GUIDED TOUR

After Rabat and Casblanca, the second day of the tour will be devoted to explore more Fez. It is seen as the intellectual and religious center of Morocco. That because of containing the important Madrassas in Morocco such as Madrassa Bou Anania. Fez El Bali (the oldest town) is the authentic part. It holds an interesting history and culture. It was founded in the 12th century. There are over 9000 narrow streets and allies in Fez El Bali. It is also a UNESCO world heritage site. Its medina is considered one of the largest of its kind in the world.

DAY 3: FES- AZROU - MIDELT - ERFOUD - RISSANI – MERZOUGA

Today’s plan is traveling to Merzouga. On the road, we will drive through the Atlas Mountains and stot to visit Cedar Forests (the largest woodland in Morocco). The journey continues until we cross the amazing Ziz Valley and reach Erfoud where the famous fossils workshops. We continue our journey with driving to Rissani where we will visit the local souk (traditional market). Merzouga is where we will spend the overnight at a local hotel (dinner and breakfast are included).

DAY 4 : MERZOUGA DESERT

The fourth day is devoted to explore Merzouga desert’s areas and villages. We will visit Khamilia village. It is also nicknamed Ganoua village. The population of this village are originally from Sudan, Mali and Senegal. We will have lunch with one of the nomad families in the desert. Later on, we will experience a camel trek. You will ride camels guided by an experienced camel man to camp in the desert of Erg Chebbi. During the journey, you will witness the astonishing sunrise over the sand dunes. You will enjoy your stay at a comfortable tent where you will have dinner. You will get to attend Berber drums and music being played around the campfire under the endless stars.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT - RISSANI - TODRA GORGES - DADES GORGES

The fifth day includes waking up to watch the amazing sunrise over the golden sand before we ride camels back to Merzouga. After having breakfast, we will drive to visit Rissani. It is famous for having the largest and dynamic souks in Morocco. After we visit the traditional market, we will continue our journey to Todra Gorges. These gorges are the highest and narrowest in Morocco. That makes a perfect destination for hikers. After taking a short a stroll and hike in the narrow canyons, we will continue to Dades Gorges. In Dades, we will spend the overnight at a local hotel (Dinner and Breakfast).

DAY 6: DADES GORGES - OUARZAZATTE - AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH

After breakfast, we will head to visit Movie Studio in Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa). After that, we will travel to Marrakech through the famous pass in Morocco. It is Tizi Tichka (2260 meters over the High Atlas Mountains). In the early evening, we will arrive at Marrakech.

DAY 7: GUIDED TOUR IN MARRAKECH

You will have breakfast at your accommodation before you go on a guided tour in Marrakech. During this tour, you will visit the most fascinating places and monuments that The Red City offers. That includes visiting Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs and the beautiful Bahia Palace. At one of the restaurants near Jamaa El Fnaa square you will have lunch. Later on, the journey continues with taking a walk to explore the souks and see thundered of handicrafts. You will enjoy a free time to discover the city by yourself in the afternoon.

DAY 8: MARRAKECH - ESSAOUIRA 1 DAY EXCURSION

Today’s plan is driving to visit Essouira city. It is one of the oldest cities in Morocco that witnessed many civilizations. It is the main home to an authentic harbor with Portuguese and Moorish art. Essaouira is famous for is its wood-work, islands and galleries. Before we drive back to Marrakech in the evening, we will explore the medina and the beach area.

DAY 9: MARRAKECH - OURIKA VALLEY 1 DAY EXCURSION

Ourika day trip  will give you the opportunity to ride camels and enjoy this popular attraction, several waterfalls and wild nature. We’re going to take the road along Ourika River, then you’re going through a series of mountain villages that cling. Stop seeing magnificent landscapes full of vibrant colors as we move across the hillsides. Our first stop will be in a traditional, valley-dwelling Berber family house.

DAY 10: MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA

Today’s plan is devoted to visit Ourika Valley. It is one of the favorite destinations for Moroccand in the weekend. You will enjoy the landscapes of the Atlas Mountains and Berber villages. You will get to see the lifestyle of people in this area and try their food. You will also have the opportunity different activities including hiking and trekking. 

On the 10th day, we will leave Marrakech and drive to Casablanca.
